KNOWING YOUR WHY?

HELLO BEAUTIFUL MINDS,

The first and most crucial step in your new business is to write down Why you joined it in the first place. Even if you are not brand new, and you have done this before - revisit your Why. This is the MOST important thing you will ever do. It will provide you with an unbreakable foundation, and will give you the very reason it will be worth going through the inevitable ups and downs you are sure to experience on the path to success. Furthermore, knowing your Why will also give others personal insight into your motivation behind why you are sharing your opportunity and products with them.

We have all heard this in many different forms.

"If you create the WHY, then the HOW will show up..."

"...if you do not know WHY you are going somewhere, you will most likely get lost...."

"If your Why doesn't make you cry, it's not strong enough".

We'll put it to you this way...first and foremost, when talking to a prospect, it is important to keep in mind that most often they do not care about your opportunity. However, people DO care about YOU. More importantly, they are most interested in how this relates to THEIR lives and THEIR situation. Don't assume that others are going to get just as excited as you are about your business, just because you are bouncing off the walls and saying how great it is.

The stronger and truer your Why is to your heart, the more it will motivate you, and inspire others as well. If you have not done this already, start by asking yourself these two questions:

1. Why did I start this business; and

2. What was my purpose for joining a network marketing company?

Don't just say, "I wanna make a lot of money!" You MUST be certain and specific about your Why. It is critical that you are very clear about your Why and that it is close to your heart. It must become ingrained into your everyday dialog. Knowing your Why, and truly believing it, will set you apart from many others in this business and greatly assist you in your relationship building process.

Here are the top 3 reasons why you need to have a powerful Why.

1. It will keep you in the business. Quitting will not be an option.

2. It will motivate and inspire your downline to also work on their Why's which will keep them in the business.

3. It will inspire people to become and STAY your customers because they will know that their monthly purchase is not only helping them, but also helping a friend in a business venture.

Don't be like every other average frustrated networker in this business and overlook getting clear about your Why.

If you haven't done this yet, then you now know what is holding you back. Before tomorrow, write down your Why, rehearse it, share it with your everyone on your team, and ask them Why they joined your M.L.M. Create a healthy dialogue so everyone feels comfortable talking about their Why. Your Why may change over time, but for now it is crucial to start with where you are at in your current situation.

Over the course of your career you can continue to refine it and make it a better and better message until eventually people will be modeling your speech as an example for others to follow.

Loving yourself?

Indeed, Friend, there are Masters among you. Scattered amongst the continents to shine their lights as brightly as possible, simply by being themselves, living mostly "ordinary" lives. Until, with enough of them walking the earth, at the deepest psychological levels, a tipping point will be reached so that all others will be raised ever higher into the light, simply for being in their midst, as if through osmosis.

Of course... there's always been the risk that these Masters, once immersed into a sea of limited thinkers, might mistaken their "ordinary" lives as simply ordinary lives, think they're simply one of the herd, and therefore not appreciate their unique perspectives, grasp their mission, or love themselves as they are no matter what others think, and the whole osmosis thing won't work.

People ask me:
“Your e-book is great! Why on earth do you give it away free?”
“Your telephone training is great! Why is it free?”
“Your ‘Colors’ CD is great! Why is it so cheap?”
“Why do you help me for free when I’m not in your company?”
… and a dozen other variations.
In the early 1990s, I joined over 100 MLM opportunities. I tracked, cataloged,
analyzed & evaluated EVERYTHING they did: products, compensation plans,
marketing, distributor support, profitability, etc.
The Ugly Results
I’m a fun-loving, easy-going guy. But my teeth clenched and my fingers curled
into fists of rage. I was stunned by how many companies and “Heavy Hitters”
make HUGE profits NOT on product sales, but instead by selling a
ton of worthless marketing materials to the distributors who trust and
believe in them!
I get mad just thinking about it. This is why you find widespread cynicism &
skepticism amongst network marketers.
I can’t blame them.
But you should hear the calls I get from people trying to figure out how I’m going
to bamboozle them.
First, they figure I’m trying to steal their people.
Fact is, they don’t HAVE any people. None who trust them, anyway. Many uplines’
idea of support is to tell you the lies we’ll cover in Chapter 1.
TRUE support is to take you by the hand and lead you through every step of this
business, so you can actually experience it in real time and get good at it. THAT
is what we do on our phone calls.
No company is ever mentioned on those calls. No product is mentioned. No one
is ever recruited.

Some people figure our calls must be rigged so anybody who calls gets
billed on their phone bill!
Listen. Our MLM business brings good income, thank you. Our tools & phone
calls support our people. And they work their butts off. And Linda & I love them
and appreciate them.
We owe everything to this business. It tortures me to hear people denigrate network
marketing because of the greed of some companies and their “Super Star
Reps.”
I don’t do ANYTHING in life that isn’t fun. Whatever I do, it’s because I love it.
So I do what I can to balance the scales. I choose to support with every
fiber of my body ANYONE who invests their hopes & dreams & life into
this industry. It makes my day to help keep their spark alive.
I will train anyone for free. No strings. I am not threatened by anyone or any
company in this industry.
But I do understand that they are threatened by me. Most STILL don’t take the
time and make the commitment to train their own people.
A word for the “Still Skeptical:” I get the skepticism. Really. But enough is
enough. Get over it. If you want to live your life distrusting everybody, then
your life is pretty much over, anyway. Goodbye, good luck. Don’t let the door hit
you in your butt on the way out.

Successful people make habitual what most people consider a hassle. There is nothing convenient about success at anything. To succeed in school, you must study endless hours. To succeed in sports, you must spend more time in the weight room and practice field than on the playing field. To succeed in business, you must conscientiously attend to the principles of your profession.



Personality theorists have long studied the link between personality and performance. Conscientiousness is the single common denominator of success, regardless of the job. This word draws part of its meaning from its root, conscience--governed by scruples. The other part of its meaning refers to how thoroughly, painstakingly and attentively one approaches a task.



In our study of top-achieving people, five of the ten ways one describes top achievers contain factors of conscientiousness. So, how conscientious are you about your job/business?

This checklist will help you decide:

1. Do you do things without your boss/others having to tell you to do them?
2. Do you seek ways to service clients before there is a problem?
3. Are you timely and efficient with your paperwork?
4. Do you take the initiative to improve things before someone else suggests it?
5. Are you committed to producing the best quality work possible?
6. How reliable are you?
7. Do you hold yourself to high standards of professionalism?
8. Are you fully committed to your goals and are you willing to pay the price to achieve them?
9. Do you thoroughly complete tasks or do just enough to get by?
10. Does your performance inspire confidence in others?

These questions are painful for some people and enlightening for others. Of all the factors that contribute to success, you can control how conscientiously you approach your job, regardless of the work you perform.

SELF-CONFIDENCE FORMULA
Step 1. I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my Definite Purpose in life, therefore, I DEMAND of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.
Step 2. I realise the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical action, and gradually transform themselves into physical reality, therefore, I will concentrate my thoughts for 30 minutes daily, upon the task of thinking of the person I intend to become, thereby creating in my mind a clear and mental picture of that person.
Step 3. I know through the principle of auto-suggestion, any desire that I persistently hold in my mind will eventually seek expression through some practical means of attaining the object back of it, therefore, I will devote 10 minutes daily to demanding of myself the development of SELF-CONFIDENCE.
Step 4. I have clearly written down a description of my DEFINITE CHIEF AIM in life, and I will never stop trying, until I shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for its attainment.
Step 5. I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice, therefore I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself.

1 - Would a logical thinking person pay this much money for the product or service if there was not a business opportunity involved?

2 - Does the income stop when the recruiting stops?

If the answer to the first question is "No" and/or the answer to the second question is "Yes",
